Leave the Outside Inn in a private car with a driver, and take the 3,5 hour trip to Longsheng, one of the most beautiful areas in the province; accompanied by a local English speaking guide, explore the Ping'An village and the surrounding area, hike along the handmade rice terraces and enjoy the fantastic view from several different angles and 2 of the viewing points - so you can understand why the Chinese refer to it as the dragon's backbone, winding along the mountains. You will have lunch in Ping'an, spend more time exploring the local culture and later in the afternoon take the trip back to Yangshuo. 

 

Ask our reception about the best times to visit. Usually, the fields get flooded in May, turn green during summer months, yellow towards September and are harvested in October.
